Our mission is to provide professional learning, training and networking opportunities for Western Australian professionals working to provide education, assessment, counselling, support and other services for gifted children and adolescents. We believe that teachers, school and university leaders, psychologists, counsellors, researchers and other professionals should have the opportunity to access each other in order to build their skills and increase their understanding of students who have exceptional potential and ability.
We seek to increase professional understanding of the academic, social and emotional needs of gifted young people in Western Australia. We believe that together we can play a key role in helping our gifted young people fulfil their potential and contribute in unique and innovative ways to the life, work and culture of Western Australia.

We aim to:
- Provide professional networking opportunities for professionals working with gifted children and adolescents in Western Australia.
- Support professionals to build their capacity to advocate for, educate and support our exceptional young people in Western Australia.
- Provide a platform to share knowledge, resources, research and quality practice with colleagues, policy-makers, schools and families.
- Build a shared understanding between professionals in different fields in order to offer consistent support, information and advice to schools, policy-makers and families.
