Would you like to understand more about the different types of IQ assessments? Which are most relevant in Australia? What should one include to look at the whole child?

Join us for an evening with Dr Kate Aster to explore this further!

In this professional learning event, you will:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of what IQ is, the history of testing, and what exactly IQ tests measure (and what they don't!)
  • Learn about the different kinds of tests and the most useful testing types for different children and situations.
  • Understand IQ score distribution, confidence intervals, and how to interpret score scatter.
  • Learn about correlation in IQ across siblings.
  • Learn about Dr. Ruf's 'Levels of Giftedness', corresponding IQ scores, and how each level manifests.
  • Understand academic accomodations a child might need

Dr Kate Aster is the Director of a specialist clinic supporting gifted and twice-exceptional children, the founder of My Neurodivergent Child, and the co-founder of Gifted WA.
