For the seventh year running Gifted WA and MENSA have joined to host a combined event, bringing together members from both organisations, for a social gathering to conclude Gifted Awareness Week 2026 (18 - 24 May).
Gifted Awareness Week is celebrated in May, every year, to raise awareness of the identification, support and learning needs of gifted children and to celebrate the dedication of individuals and education bodies who are making a positive difference in the lives of gifted children and their families.
You're invited to a BYO picnic from 11:30am. We will have Lego, Duplo, stepping stones and magnet tiles set up on large mats, as well as free face painting from 11:30-1:30pm!
At 12:30pm we will have a host an open panel discussion for parents.
This was a huge success last year and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the commencement of Gifted Awareness Week.
