      <title>I'm New, What Do I Do? A 'Where to Start' Guide for Beginner Parents and Teachers of Gifted Children (23 Jun 2026)</title>

It can be daunting to know where to begin to pursue assessment, information and support, and at Gifted WA we regularly receive queries from 'newbie' parents and teachers about where to start. This information session will give you some ideas to get you started on your gifted and talented journey so that you are better equipped to know what to do next, where to find resources, and how to connect with others.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

Kylie is an award-winning teacher and scholar and was previously the Senior Inclusive and Gifted Education Consultant at the Association of Independent Schools of WA. Kylie has many years of experience working with gifted and talented students in government and non-government schools, and works with schools to examine and improve their practice, policies and processes in order to better support and challenge students of all abilities.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>What to Look for When Getting An Assessment (5 Aug 2026)</title>
